GPV Colonel 8 x 8 x 8 Armoured Personnel Carrier

The GPV or General Purpose Vehicles company has developed a family of armored personnel carrier. These are available in 4×4, 6×6, 8×8 and 10×10 configurations. To date no production orders were placed on this armored vehicles family.

The GPV Captain can accommodate various weapon systems, including one- or two-man turrets and remotely controlled weapon stations.

All-round protection is against 7.62-mm rounds. Armor thickness of the GPV Captain depends on customers requirements. Hull can be manufactured from aluminum or titanium and other materials. [...]

ERC 90 Wheeled Armoured Vehicles, France

ERC 90 (Engin de Reconnaissance à Canon de 90) is a family of 6×6 wheeled armoured vehicles which was developed by Panhard General Defence for the French Army, as well as export markets. The ERC 90 range consists of the ERC 90 Sagaie, ERC 90 Lynx, ERC 90 CMI and ERC 90 NG vehicles.

The UK Royal Navy Merlin medium lift helicopter is a variant of the EH101 helicopter developed by AgustaWestland (formerly EH Industries). Italy and Great Britain signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 1979 to develop a medium lift helicopter and Agusta and GKN Westland formed a joint venture company, EH Industries, to manage the EH101 development. Dragon Runner Reconnaissance Robot

The U.S. Marines deployed a dozen Dragon Runners to Iraq a year ago.  Developed by Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute and the United States Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) in Quantico, Va., the Dragon Runner is a small, lightweight, portable mobile reconnaissance/scout robot (or “bot”). Eurocopter AS 550 Fennec single-engine helicopter

Armoured Multipurpose Vehicle (AMPV)

The Armoured Multipurpose Vehicle (AMPV) is a family of 4×4 vehicles being developed jointly by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) and Rheinmetall Defence. The vehicles will enter into full-scale production by the end of 2011.

ABC 79M Amphibious Armoured Personnel Carrier

 

 

 

The ABC 79M 4×4 amphibious armoured personnel carrier was produced by ROMARM for the Romanian Army. The vehicle was previously known as TABC 79.

The Romanian Army is the only operator of the ABC 79M vehicles. In 1994, Israel took the delivery of an ABC 79M vehicle for trial purposes, but placed no orders.

The Romanian Army deployed ABC 79M vehicles in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
